In 2018, we felt we needed a refresh of the NECO Community Futures Development Corporation image. Because we are part of a national program, there were some aspects of the branding, including the logo, that had to remain recognizable. At the time, we were working with Mandy at X-Height Graphics, a company owned by her father, Kevin Strang. Mandy developed a new color palate for our logo that completely changed the feel from very corporate to fresh and current.  We now have a completely new image that speaks to who we are as an individual organization and how we meet the needs of our business clients and the community organizations in our region. We had no hesitation in continuing to work with Mandy as she took over the family business and made it her own, Third Gen Design.

Designing our new website was the biggest challenge and we absolutely love Mandy and Whitney’s result. It captures our mandate; shares our team with you, including the Board of Directors, in a more personal way; tells you about our programs; and shines a light on our clients and their successes. We have had excellent feedback from colleagues and clients, with the most common comment  being how welcoming it feels.

Mandy has designed our new rack cards, a great banner, signage, and an excellent Board member recruitment tool for us. She has also developed many NECO ads, including our recent COVID-19 Emergency Loan Program ad, which brings me to the response time. The turn-around time from initial conversation to proofs, to product in hand, is excellent. Mandy and Whitney take a very professional approach to each project we initiate with them and the pride they take in their work is evident.  Thank you, Third Gen Design – we know we can count on you!
